Along with them, I am an administrator of that group. 1. Many coins, collectibles, etc. often have a range or scale they use from 1-9. Using this method (CC1 - CC9) for challenge coins, we’ve been able to separate coins into the following categories (CC identifies Challenge Coin allowing it to be used universal when identifying your Challenge Coins): CC9 - High Ranking official (Top government officials, military Officer in Charge, Director, Commander) CC8 - High Ranking official (can be Vice position, other O-6 above military) CC7 - Unit issued (Unit Commander, Commanding Officer, Command Sergeant, Command Master Chief/Top Enlisted) CC6 - Unit issued (Special events, deployments, above standard unit coins) CC5 - Unit issued (actual unit coins) CC4 - Highest quality stock coins CC3 - Standard quality stock coins CC2 - Uknown (no knowledge of coin’s history) CC1 - Replica/Reproduction/Below Standard 2. This scale is for people who actually know how many of a particular coin have been made. Without that information, you couldn't use this.
