Challenge Coin Association - DVDs to the Desert Program

When I was in Iraq, everybody wanted to help keep us comfortable. Family, Friends, Strangers. We had so much free goodies and toiletries, that we couldn't hold it all. The boxes of creature comforts, filled up what little space we had. We even had to create storerooms for it all. Finally, we decided to give most of it to the local Iraqi's. Of course their neighbors would get jealous and plant bombs. Testimony to this, can be seen on my video that I made in Iraq.

That being said, the thing we couldn't get enough of, was DVDs. It is hard to get a quality movie while overseas. When people ask me what should they send to their cousin or co-worker in Iraq, the only thing I have ever recommended was DVDs. That is why on July 25th, 2007 I formally launched DVDs to the Desert.

I have a vast network of people who are in harms way right now. I am sure they could use a DVD to help them relax after patrol. I have DVDs to send. Don't you? Send the DVDs to me, or just some money to help me mail them. I will make sure they get to someone who could really use them. After all, you will probably be lucky to get 75 cents for most DVDs on half.com. Believe me, I have tried in the past.
